Understanding message ticks and read receipts

The small marks beside your message tell you how far it has got.

  • A clock means the message is still on your phone, waiting for a connection.
  • One tick means it reached InfoPhone.
  • Two ticks mean it reached their phone.
  • Two coloured ticks mean they have opened the chat and read it.

If someone has read receipts turned off you will not see the coloured ticks, even after they have read it. Read receipts are always on in groups.
