Help Centre/Calls/Fixing poor call quality

Fixing poor call quality

Choppy audio and frozen video are almost always the connection rather than the app.

Try these first

  • Move somewhere with better signal or closer to your Wi-Fi router.
  • Turn your video off — voice needs far less bandwidth.
  • Close anything else that is streaming or downloading.
  • Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see which is steadier.

If only one side sounds bad, the problem is on that side’s connection.
