Deleting your account

What deleting does

• Deletes your account info and profile photo.
• Removes you from every group you are in.
• Deletes your message history on this phone, and your backup.

Delete your account

1. Open Settings, then Account.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Check your country and enter your phone number.
4. Tap Delete my account.

There is no undo. Messages you already sent stay on the phones of the people you sent them to, and every linked device is signed out along with the account.
